NIX: Three Years Dubbed Out
Room for the rhythm. Time for the details.
Three Years Dubbed Out. With Toploader, K-Klass, Kelly Llorenna in the mix, there’s a good place to start. Put it on, take a little time and see which track makes you reach for the volume. I love the Dubbed Out Festival

WHAT’S THIS ONE ABOUT?
The playlist’s own description sets the direction:
Two hours of John's favourite Dubbed Out 2024-2026 acts, flowing from singalongs into house, crossover anthems and a rave-tent finish. East 17 omitted.
I’d start with the running order rather than shuffle. Let the choices make their case, one track at a time.
LISTEN OUT FOR
The opening
Start with Dancing In the Moonlight by Toploader. Listen to what catches your ear first, then carry that thought into the next song.
The detail
Try a track you know at a comfortable volume. Listen for a voice or instrument you usually overlook.
Another stop
Stay for On a Ragga Tip (Unlimit-Ing Remix) by SL2. Listen for what it changes from the opening.
BEST HEARD ON
My pick: headphones and an uninterrupted half-hour. No scrolling, no skipping after ten seconds. Let the music earn the next track.
