The NIX Small-Crockpot Chicken Balti combines tender chicken thigh, sweet red pepper, ginger, garlic and a concentrated tomato sauce with a freshly bloomed balti spice mix.

It is rich, punchy and built specifically for a small Crockpot. No watery sauce, no enormous batch and no jar required.

The short spice-blooming stage is worth doing: it creates the deeper, roasted flavour that separates a proper balti from chicken cooked in spicy tomato soup.
