NIX DRONES · STAFFORD, STAFFORDSHIRE
Drone photography
& video in Stafford.
A familiar place. A completely different perspective.
I’m NIX, a drone photographer and videographer based in Stafford. I create aerial photographs and films that show the shape, setting and character of a place, from the sweep of a landscape to the details that disappear at ground level.

STILLS · MOVEMENT · A SENSE OF PLACE
What would you like
people to see?
Aerial photography gives a subject its surroundings. Video adds movement, atmosphere and a way into the story. The right approach starts with what you want the images to do.
Drone video
Moving views that introduce a location and reveal its setting. Tell me whether you are thinking about a short social clip, footage for a wider film or a story built around one place.
Property & business
A venue, a holiday let, a campsite or a business with something worth showing. Share the location and intended use so we can discuss the views, access and filming that suit your brief.
FROM MY PHOTOGRAPHIC & FILM ARCHIVE
Real places.
My view of them.
A selection of my own photography and film, from the Stafford area to journeys further afield.
MILFORD · STAFFORDSHIRE
A local landscape,
seen differently.
My film January 2024 Milford Flooding records a changing landscape close to Stafford. It is a local example of how an aerial view can reveal the scale and setting of a story.

Berrends Farm
Fields, woodland and a campsite become part of a much wider composition. The setting tells as much of the story as the subject.
Dubrovnik, Croatia
A small boat, open water and room to breathe. A photograph from my travels, showing the quieter side of the aerial viewpoint.

Every place needs its own approach. The location, weather, access and permissions all shape what can be captured, so we discuss the practical details before agreeing a shoot.

BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE
A few useful answers.
Are you based in Stafford?
Yes. NIX Drones is based in Stafford, Staffordshire. Send your project’s location through the enquiry form to discuss local work or travel further afield.
Can I enquire about both photographs and video?
Yes. Tell me whether you need aerial stills, drone footage or a combination, and how you plan to use them. That helps us shape the brief.
Can a drone be flown at any location?
The exact location needs to be assessed before a shoot can be agreed. Access, airspace, people nearby, permissions and the weather all affect the plan. Sending a postcode or location link is a useful starting point.
How much does drone photography cost?
Ask for a quote with the location and a short description of what you need. The scope, travel, filming and editing requirements determine the cost; we discuss those details before agreeing the work.
How do I get in touch?
